As an Advisory Intern at Grant Thornton Aruba, you’ll support our Advisory team across Aruba and Bonaire by contributing to engagements in areas such as strategy, risk management, process improvement, and organizational development. You will work alongside experienced consultants, gaining hands-on experience in client-facing projects and learning how data-driven insights support decision-making and business transformation.
This internship is designed for a student in the final phase of their bachelor’s studies (thesis year) who is eager to deepen their understanding of consulting and apply their academic knowledge in a professional, fast-paced environment. You must be analytical, proactive, well-organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
You will assist with:
- Supporting client engagements through research, data analysis, and preparing presentations or reports
- Conducting industry and market analysis to support strategic recommendations
- Helping with the development and documentation of advisory solutions and methodologies
- Participating in project meetings, taking notes, and summarizing key action points
- Supporting the Advisory team with proposals, client deliverables, and internal initiatives
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks related to consulting engagements and project management
Who You Are:
- You are currently in your final year of a bachelor’s program (thesis stage) in Business Administration, Management, Governance, or a related field
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and enjoy working with data
- You communicate clearly and professionally in English, Dutch, and/or Papiamento
- You can work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks
- You are detail-oriented, structured, and able to think critically about business challenges
- You have a strong interest in consulting, organizational improvement, strategy, or process improvement
