Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to lead our warehousing operations in Aruba. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day flow of goods, supervising a dynamic team, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with customs and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of the warehouse including receiving, unloading, storage, picking, and dispatching of cargo.
• Oversee container unloading at the dock, ensuring sequential, efficient operations in coordination with customs officers.
• Manage bonded inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping and reconciliation of goods.
• Schedule and lead the warehouse team (including helpers and drivers) for optimal labor allocation.
• Coordinate with customs agents, clearance staff, to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain equipment and ensure the warehouse environment adheres to health, safety, and security standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a warehouse or logistics (assistant) manager
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures and freight documentation.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve logistical problems on the fly.
• Fluent in English and Papiamento. Dutch and Spanish is a plus.
• Proficient in inventory software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
