Job Summary

Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa is looking for a skilled and motivated First Cook to help lead our kitchen team.

You will take responsibility for daily kitchen operations, guide and mentor junior cooks, and ensure every dish reflects the high quality and warm hospitality that define the Manchebo experience. With creativity, leadership, and a passion for fresh ingredients, you will play a vital role in making our dining program something guests remember long after their stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising daily kitchen operations.
• Prepare, cook, and plate dishes that meet our quality and presentation standards.
• Provide training, support, and leadership to junior kitchen staff.
• Help monitor food inventory and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a First Cook, Line Cook, or in a similar kitchen role.
• Strong culinary knowledge, with a passion for quality and consistency.
• Proven leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
