We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented candidate to join our team as a Jr. Sales and Underwriting Officer.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Assist customers with insurance-related inquiries and sales activities.
• Process and input new applications, amendments, and cancellations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure the underwriting system and physical / digital files are organized and up to date.
• Maintain high standards of quality and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Handle renewals for motor, property, and medical insurance policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the sales and service team.

Requirements

• Completed MBO-level education in Economics or a related field, or equivalent qualification
• Solid background in insurance knowledge and practices
• Proven sales skills with a proactive and persuasive approach
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a hands-on mentality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Dutch, Papiamento, and English preferred)
• Proficient computer skills and a high level of digital literacy
• Well-organized, structured, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Experience with back-office operations is a strong advantage
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Results-driven and customer-focused mindset
