To strengthen our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Activity Coordinator.

Location: San Nicolas, Aruba

Hours: 20 hours per week

Contract: Part-time, contract-based with the opportunity to expand to more hours in the future.

What you will do

This is a versatile role where you will guide youth in shaping their own activities, while also being the point of contact for our volunteers.

• Organize activities that encourage young people to express themselves through projects.
• Plan and organize community service initiatives together with youth.
• Support school-based activities, workshops, and after-school programs.
• Recruit and onboard new volunteers, while also supporting them.
• Create the monthly volunteer schedule/roster.
• Organize fun and engaging team-building and social activities.

Who you are

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with young people and knows how to build a warm and engaged volunteer community.

• You have an MBO diploma in Social Pedagogical Work (SPW) or a similar field.
• You have experience in guiding groups of young people (ages 13–24), or you are highly motivated to gain this experience.
• You are young(-minded) and able to create a buddy connection with youth.
• You are fluent in Papiamento, English, and Dutch.
• You are well-organized and able to plan and structure activities and projects.
• You are a strong communicator and can motivate and inspire both youth and volunteers.
• You are creative in organizing activities and strengthening group spirit.
• You work well independently but also thrive in a team setting.
