Join a dynamic financial institution where precision, compliance, and people operations are critical to success. We are seeking a Payroll & HR Specialist who takes ownership of payroll accuracy and HR administration in a highly regulated environment.               

In this role, you will manage payroll and core HR processes for approximately 70 employees, ensuring full compliance with local legislation and regulatory requirements, including those set by the Centrale Bank van Aruba.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the full payroll cycle, including processing, validation, reconciliation, and reporting
• Ensure payroll and HR practices comply with Aruban labor laws and tax regulations
• Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready employee records and payroll documentation
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required reports, documentation, and reconciliations
• Administer employee benefits and leave with strong controls and proper documentation
• Oversee onboarding and employee lifecycle processes with a focus on compliance and record integrity
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for payroll and HR queries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
• Collaborate with Finance, Auditors, Risk/Compliance, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with internal control frameworks

What You Bring

• Proven experience in payroll and HR administration, ideally within a regulated or financial environment
• Previous experience working in a highly regulated industry is a plus
• Strong understanding of internal controls, audit process, and compliance standards
• High level of accuracy, discretion, and accountability when handling sensitive data
• Ability to identify discrepancies, assess risks, and implement corrective actions
• Experience working with payroll systems and HRIS platforms
