Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented tax intern to join our tax department. As a tax intern, you will assist with various tax compliance and research tasks, gaining valuable hands-on experience in tax preparation and analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced tax professionals while contributing to the smooth running of our tax processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the team in collecting, organizing, and verifying financial documents necessary for tax compliance.
• Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax objections and tax appeals. Conduct in-depth research and analysis on tax-related matters.
• Participate in the preparation of tax reports and presentations.
• Assist with various tax projects, initiatives, and other ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in tax or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of tax laws and regulations is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, with verbal and written skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
