Responsibilities

• Gets assignment sheet and make requests for supplies if needed, ensure caddy is properly stocked and clean
• Ensures lobby areas are clean and free of trash and debris
• Maintains public restrooms at the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation
• Maintains areas of offices clean and free of dust, dirt, debris, stains and odors
• Ensures that employee locker rooms are maintained in good condition and appearance
• Cleans public telephones
• Dusts all furniture, etc. in public areas
• Cleans and maintains all sofa chairs and cushions. Reports stains and damages
• Ensures that all pictures, wall ornaments and frames are free of dust, tears, cracks, streaks and smears
• Cleans mirrors
• Polishes woodwork and brass
• Cleans counters, booths and tables
• Empties and cleans all ash urns and ash trays
• Empties and cleans all trash receptacles
• Cleans and disinfects urinals and toilets
• Cleans plants and planters daily
• Cleans sink, paper dispenser and vanity, keeps them free of soap, scum, hair, smudges, mildew, debris and odors
• Clean and shine fixtures
• Replenishes paper supply and refill soap dispensers and hand sanitizers
• Clean door, door frames, knobs and ceiling fans
• Cleans and wipes all light fixtures according to special instructions
• Cleans the vents and filters
• Cleans and washes windows and window frames
• Sweeps and mops floors
• Spray buff floors following special instructions
• Strip floors
• Clean walls, pool tables and cobweb
• Vacuums all carpeted areas twice a day
• Spot clean carpets
• Shampoo carpets
• Sweep front entrance daily
• Cleans, disinfects and polishes water fountains
• Sweep and empty garbage bins on tennis court
• Remove cobweb and clean walls regularly
• Return, clean and restock janitor cart
• Clean all machines used for the day
• Wash mop, bucket, and broom
• Return keys and report to Asst. Housekeeper/Housekeeper
• Scrub tiles once a month 

Requirements and Qualifications

• EPB Diploma is preferred but not required
• Can understand and speak Papiamento. Some English is preferred.
• Has a Dutch Passport or valid work permit
