On behalf of our client, a wholesale and retail in Bakery Supplies, we are looking for a Warehouse & Delivery Helper to join the team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Hard Skills:

Inventory Management:

 Assist in the proper storage and organization of merchandise within the warehouse.

 Help track and log product inventories to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.

Quality Control:

 Assist with receive incoming goods, check for damages, and verify quantities.

 Assist with weighing, counting, and inspecting parcels for defects or discrepancies.

Order Processing & Delivery:

 Assist in packing and loading orders accurately for delivery to customers.

 Ensure items are securely loaded in vehicles to prevent damage during transit.

 Load, transport, and deliver items to clients in a safe and timely manner

 Assist with the retrieval and preparation of specified goods in accordance with delivery orders

Warehouse Equipment Operation:

 Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and lift equipment, to safely load and unload merchandise.

Maintenance and Organization:

 Keep the warehouse area clean and organized.

 Assist in restocking supplies when necessary.

 Maintain the FIFO (First In, First Out) method and remove products nearing expiration dates.

 Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently

 Display effective communication skills to interact with team members and customers.

 Pay close attention to detail when fulfilling orders and managing inventory.

 Maintains stamina and strength for moving equipment and products weighing up to 25 kg.

Time Management:

 Effectively manage time to complete tasks efficiently and support timely deliveries.

Academic Qualifications and Experience required for position:

 Minimum of EPB diploma is required.

 Previous experience in a warehouse and/or delivery environment is preferred 

 Certification and experience to operate forklifts and other machinery used for moving and transporting products.

 Strong organizational and time management skills.

 Is detail-oriented and capable of noticing small errors on orders or defective aspects of products.

 Physical ability to lift heavy items up to 25kg, and perform manual tasks as required.

 Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

 Strong communication skills in English, Papiamento, Spanish and Dutch.

 Knowledge of warehouse safety precautions and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
