WE'RE LOOKING FOR A CONSTRUCTION SAFETY OFFICER to oversee and enforce the highest safety standards on our client construction sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise all safety procedures and construction work at designated construction sites.
• Ensure workers at construction sites are safely carrying out their duties.
• Conduct regular site inspections (harness checks, PPE compliance, standard safety protocols).
• Maintain and uphold the highest safety standards at all times.
• Communicate daily with field supervisors regarding safety matters.
• Attend on-site and off-site safety trainings as required.
• Accurately maintain and submit timesheets.
• Must be willing to work overtime.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience in a construction safety role.
• Education: LTS or EPI or similar (minimum).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Languages: English, Nederlands, Papiamento, Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to attend trainings and adapt to site-specific requirements.
• Ability to handle high-responsibility situations with professionalism.
• Must have basic knowledge of first aid and construction safety.
• The job requires a lot of walking.
• Must be in good physical condition.
• Punctual and responsible.
• Must be wiling to work overtime

Work load is 40 or 45 hours per week.

Starting pay AWG 20 per hour based on experience and knowledge.
