Position Summary

As the face of DHL, our Couriers are responsible for the daily pickup and delivery of time-sensitive packages. Key Responsibilities

• Safe Operations: Efficiently operate a company delivery vehicle, adhering to all local traffic laws and DHL safety regulations.
• Pickup & Delivery: Ensure the timely, secure, and accurate delivery and collection of international and domestic shipments.
• Customer Excellence: Provide friendly, professional service at every stop, assisting customers with shipping inquiries and paperwork.
• Scanning & Tracking: Utilize a handheld scanner to log package statuses in real-time, ensuring 100% visibility for our customers.
• Loading & Sorting: Assist with loading and unloading your vehicle, ensuring packages are organized logically for your daily route.
• Inspection: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
• Education: Mavo diploma or higher
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift, push, and pull packages frequently (often up to 50 lbs / 23 kg) and walk, bend, or climb stairs throughout the day.
• Technology: Basic proficiency in using smartphone-based or handheld scanning technology for tracking purposes.

• Navigation Skills: Excellent awareness and the ability to map out routes using GPS and local geographical knowledge.

• Adaptability: The ability to stay calm and focused under pressure, adapting seamlessly to changing weather, traffic conditions, or route adjustments.
