Accounting Officer – Aruba

On behalf of our client in Aruba, we are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Accounting Officer to join their finance team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the company’s day-to-day financial operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, reliability, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsabilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare financial reports for management
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and internal policies
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting when required

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Excellent MS Excel skills
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
