About the Job

Gandelman is looking for a detail-oriented, reliable Boutique Supervisor to support the Cartier Boutique Manager in maintaining smooth, secure daily operations. You will be responsible for opening and closing procedures, administrative management, assist in inventory controls, and ensuring the boutique operates according to Cartier and Gandelman standards. This role requires accountability, discretion, and strong operational management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Boutique Opening & Closing

• Execute opening and closing procedures according to all Cartier and Gandelman security protocols
• Ensure the boutique is fully prepared for business prior to opening
• Conduct comprehensive opening and closing checks (sales floor, back office, safes, systems, environment)
• Follow all security, alarm, key, and access procedures
• Verify proper boutique security at end of business day
• Report any irregularities, security concerns, incidents, or operational issues to management immediately

Administrative Operations & POS

• Manage daily administrative tasks with accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain boutique records, files, reports, invoices, correspondence, and documentation
• Assist with daily sales and operational reporting
• Support inventory administration, stock documentation, transfers, and controls
• Coordinate and follow up on invoices, deliveries, repairs, and supplies
• Maintain organized, confidential employee and boutique documentation
• Assist with scheduling, meetings, communications, and other administrative requirements

Boutique Operations

• Support the Boutique Manager in maintaining Cartier and Gandelman standards, policies, and procedures
• Monitor operational needs and proactively address or escalate issues
• Coordinate with Company departments, suppliers, and external partners as required
• Maintain organized, professional boutique environment (front-of-house and back-of-house)
• Assist with operational preparations for events, VIP appointments, stock counts, maintenance, and special activities
• Support daily cash and administrative controls in accordance with company procedures
• Assist with stock-related administrative processes and documentation
• Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity when handling financial, stock, client, and company information
• Immediately escalate any discrepancies or irregularities to management

Team Support

• Serve as a reliable operational point of contact for the boutique team
• Communicate operational information clearly and promptly to team members and management
• Support team compliance with established boutique procedures and standards
• Ensure opening, closing, and daily operational responsibilities are completed consistently and professionally

Requirements

• Brings a positive, can-do mindset and attitude to every situation
• Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
• Fluent in English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamento
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and adapts with ease
• Skilled at motivating, coaching, and developing team members
• Proactive in analyzing business data to identify opportunities and drive results
• Flexible and open to change, with the ability to pivot quickly when needed
• Passionate about delivering outstanding client service
• Discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle sensitive information with confidence
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Previous management experience, preferably in luxury retail or hospitality
