Description:

SafeCom Security N.V. is looking for a diligent Alarm Monitoring Operator to join our team. Your role will include monitoring the incoming signals of various security systems for our clients, identifying and verifying potential threats, and initiating appropriate actions in response to any alarms. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills, has an ability to remain calm and composed during emergencies, has strong work ethic, can work well in teams, and is disciplined. Knowledge of security protocols and procedures, as well as familiarity with CCTV or other surveillance systems, is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor multiple alarm systems simultaneously
• Identify, validate, and respond to alarm signals promptly
• Dispatch appropriate authorities in case of verified threats and emergency events
• Provide detailed information of alarm incidents to authorities
• Log all alarm activities accurately and promptly
• Adherence to company’s standards and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service during alarm incidents
• Participate in emergency response drills and training
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other staff to ensure seamless operations

Qualifications:

• Minimum E.P.I. Diploma
• Age: between 18 and 35 years old
• Experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in using and/or learning various software(s) is a plus.
• Intermediate skills in Excel and Word.
• Ability to communicate in English, Spanish, Dutch and Papiamento
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to make quick decisions and stay calm during emergencies
• Willingness to work in shifts, during weekends, and on public holidays
• Must be able to provide a clean letter of good conduct (VOG) and pass a drug test
• Honest, high integrity, adaptable, professional, and committed to excellent customer service.
