About the vacancy
The Listing Marketing plays a crucial role in driving Bocobay's success by developing and executing content and data-driven strategies to optimize listing performance. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and optimization of vacation rental listings. The Listing Marketing meticulously verifies and audits every data point associated with each property to guarantee its accuracy and enhance its market performance. By maintaining high standards and optimizing listings, the Listing Marketing contributes significantly to the company's reputation, customer satisfaction, and business growth. Additionally, the Listing Marketing serves as the primary organizer for all listing processes, oversees escalated review protocols, and manages communication with listing site representatives to maximize exposure and ranking algorithms.
AT BOCOBAY YOU WILL
Listing Content Creation
- Write listing copy text for multiple OTA channels, including space, room, access, neighborhood descriptions, ensuring logical hierarchical reuse.
- Manage the image creation process, ensuring suitable internal, external, common, and location images (from 3rd party suppliers or internally created).
- Write and manage image captions across all OTAs.
- Manage floorplan creation.
- Create location drone shots showcasing relevant landmarks. OTA Listing Management
- Manage and perform the listing process across all OTAs.
- Conduct periodic listing quality checks and improvements.
- Make listing amendments as requested.
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure best practices are adopted across all listings.
- Identify OTA channel opportunities and recommend revenue optimization strategies. Building Trust with Key Partners
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders (Management, Revenue, Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Technology, Distribution channels) to enhance booking performance.
- Support and execute new listing initiatives, tracking progress and communicating priorities.
- Stay updated on market trends and evolving listing opportunities created by technological innovations like AI.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Experience in a digital content management and marketing role
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel whilst priorising
- Attention to detail postingquality content accurately across multiple OTA channels
- Proficiency in OTA and property management software and tools (Airbnb, VRBO,Booking.com, Expedia, Hostaway are a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence decision-making
- Self-motivated, intellectually curious individuals
- Passion for driving meaningful business impact
- Creative thinkers with a keen understanding of what guests want
