The Human Capital Manager is a results-driven HR professional with extensive human capital management experience and a robust understanding of Aruban employment law and local workforce dynamics. Demonstrates a proven ability to align HR strategies with business objectives, fostering an energetic, engaging work environment that supports organizational growth.
Core Competencies
- HR Operations Management: Expertise in overseeing day-to-day HR functions, ensuring seamless delivery of HR services aligned with operational goals. Leads the implementation of the HC strategy.
- Talent Acquisition & Retention: Skilled in managing end-to-end recruitment processes, organizational planning, and maintaining compliance to attract and retain top talent.
- Learning and Development: Adept at determining Training needs, creating tailored development programs, and evaluating their effectiveness to meet competency requirements.
- Performance Management: Experienced in Managing and implementing the Performance Management processes, succession planning and talent mapping. Drive a high-performance culture that will create and support new business opportunities.
- Employee Engagement: Proficient in designing and leading initiatives that foster positive workplace culture and behavioral change.
- Compensation and Benefits Administration: Strong understanding of salary structures and compensation strategies to maintain internal equity and competitiveness.
- Alignment of Industrial Relations (IR): Ability to align employment relations strategies with organizational objectives to drive productivity, foster a positive work environment, and support long-term business success.
- Planning: Well-versed in planning and managing budgets and metrics to optimize departmental performance and contribute to organizational success.
Experience and Achievements
- HR Leadership Experience: 5–7 years in HR management roles, preferably within Aruba, showcasing a deep understanding of local employment regulations and business practices.
- HR Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with HRIS and Payroll systems to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Business Partnering: Successful history of working with cross-functional teams to deliver HR solutions that address specific business challenges and drive organizational growth.
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

- Strategic Thinker: Combines a strong business mindset with analytical and problem-solving skills to influence and implement effective HR strategies.
- Effective Communicator: Builds trust and credibility through clear, confidential, and persuasive communication with employees, management, and executives.

- Knowledgeable: In-depth expertise in HC practices, talent management, and performance management, ensuring compliance with local laws and global standards.
