About the Role:

Become an integral part of Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort's dining experience as a Waiter, where your hospitality expertise will create memorable moments for our guests. In this guest-facing role, you'll exemplify our service standards while mentoring junior staff, ensuring every meal reflects Aruba's warm hospitality. Your attention to detail and anticipation of guest needs will elevate our restaurant's reputation for exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, personalized table service to restaurant guests
• Guide and mentor junior serving staff through exemplary service
• Anticipate guest needs and preferences for proactive service
• Accurately process orders using the ALOHA POS system
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, ingredients, and specials
• Ensure proper table setup and presentation standards
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve service issues professionally
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams for seamless service flow
• Process payments and maintain accurate transaction records
• Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas

Qualifications:

• High School diploma with Hospitality Training certification
• 2+ years experience in upscale restaurant service
• Fluency in English, Spanish, and Papiamento
• Proficiency with ALOHA POS or similar restaurant systems
• Exceptional multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments
• Impeccable grooming and professional appearance
• Ability to maintain composure during peak service periods
• Strong team player with mentoring capabilities
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
