Varadero Caribe N.V. is one of Aruba's leading marine service providers, offering hauling, launching, storage, maintenance, and repair services to local and international boat owners. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Marine Carpenter to join our Boatyard Team and help deliver high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional service to our customers.
Working closely with our boatyard team, mechanics, painters, and management, you will perform repairs and modifications to vessel structures, including decks, hatches, flooring, and railings. You will also assist with surface preparation, sanding, fairing, painting, varnishing, and polishing to ensure every project meets the highest standards of quality and appearance.
In addition to carpentry work, you will support daily boatyard operations by assisting with vessel hauling, launching, docking, and blocking activities when required.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry, woodworking, cabinetmaking, or a related field.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment.
- Knowledge of wood types, composites, adhesives, sealants, and finishing materials.
- Ability to read measurements, drawings, and work instructions accurately.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, climbing, kneeling, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Communication skills in Papiamento, Spanish; and English is considered an asset.
