What you'll do

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems on industrial processing equipment (shredders, conveyors, trommel screens, balers)
• Diagnose and repair PLC-controlled systems and motor drives (VFDs)
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and support planned downtime schedules
• Work with fire suppression, alarm, and safety systems
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and panel layouts
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs in our CMMS (eMaint)

What we're looking for

• MBO/vocational diploma in electrical engineering or equivalent certification
• Experience in an industrial, waste, mining, or heavy manufacturing environment preferred
• Comfortable working in a dusty, high-temperature outdoor/semi-outdoor facility
• Knowledge of 3-phase systems, low voltage distribution, and control panels
• PLC experience (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar) is an advantage
• Able to work independently and respond to breakdowns under time pressure
• Good communication skills in Papiamento, English or Spanish
