About the vacancy

As a Purchasing Clerk for Romar Group you will support the purchasing team by assisting in the purchasing of goods. Your primary role is to ensure that inventory levels are maintained, supplies are ordered in a timely manner, and accurate documentation is processed. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have good negotiation skills, and be able to maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers and colleagues to meet the company’s needs efficiently.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred).
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or administrative role (experience in distribution or retail industry is an advantage).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with procurement software or ERP systems (preferred).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Papiamento, Dutch, or Spanish is a plus.
