About the vacancy

As a Building Maintenance Mechanical Technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems within all buildings/facilities of TBC/BNB. You will be tasked with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure the safety of occupants. You will assist in the upkeep and maintenance of various aspects of the building or facility. Responsibilities include performing complex repairs, conducting routine inspections, assisting with HVAC system maintenance, ensuring proper function of all Building/ Facility mechanical systems, and other general tasks as assigned by supervisors. Ensure that all work performed conforms to the policies and procedures and meets the standard of performance of TBC/BNB.


Basic Function:

As a Building Maintenance Mechanical Technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems within all buildings/facilities of TBC/BNB. You will be tasked with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure the safety of occupants. You will assist in the upkeep and maintenance of various aspects of the building or facility. Responsibilities include performing complex repairs, conducting routine inspections, assisting with HVAC system maintenance, ensuring proper function of all Building/ Facility mechanical systems, and other general tasks as assigned by supervisors. Ensure that all work performed conforms to the policies and procedures and meets the standard of performance of TBC/BNB.

Specific Responsibilities:

Mechanical Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems, including but not limited to walls, flooring, roofing, HVAC units, plumbing systems, pumps, motors, and other building/ facility-related mechanical equipment.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to building operations.
Repair Work: Execute repairs on faulty mechanical components and systems to restore functionality and prevent potential hazards.
Preventative Maintenance: Execute preventative maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of mechanical systems and equipment.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency calls regarding mechanical issues, assess the situation, and take appropriate action to resolve problems safely and efficiently.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and upgrades performed on mechanical systems for reference and compliance purposes.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all mechanical work adheres to safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Policy Adherence: Perform work in accordance with IMS policies and procedures.
Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement in maintenance processes.
Quality and Environmental Compliance: Take necessary steps to control potentially unsafe or poor-quality products and ensure adherence to environmental practices.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the operational integrity of all mechanical systems within the facility.

Follow procedures and instructions outlined in the Employee Handbook and the IMS manual of TBC/BNB.
Comply with guidelines and procedures related to environmental, safety, quality, and food safety.
Utilize equipment, machinery, transportation, tools, and materials properly, including adherence to safety measures.
Adhere to procedures and regulations specific to job locations.
Wear personal protective equipment as directed by TBC/BNB regulations or supervisor instructions.

Job Profile:

Level of Education: EPB+, EPI
Experience: 2 - 5 years of experience in a similar position. Experience in building maintenance/facility is a must. Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.
