JUNIOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Aruba Wine & Dine is looking for a Junior Accounting Manager to strengthen our finance team. In this role, you will take ownership of key accounting activities and actively contribute to the further professionalization and growth of our organization.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As Junior Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for executing and coordinating daily accounting operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial administration and supporting reporting processes within a dynamic hospitality environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee accounting: GL, AP, AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

• Supervise month- and year-end closings.

• Prepare and analyze reports.

• Match inventory counts to financial records.

• Coordinate audits.

• Enforce internal controls and policies.

• Partner with teams to support business goals.

• Lead and train the accounting team.

• Set goals, give direction, and track performance.

• Promote improvement, teamwork, and accountability.

• Manage budgets and analyze variances monthly.

• Guide the team in automating accounting processes.

PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS

• EPI Level 4 diploma, MBO Level 4 diploma, or equivalent relevant work experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Strong administrative and analytical skills

• Proactive, hands-on mentality

• Accurate, responsible, and able to work under pressure

• Ambitious and motivated to grow within the organization

• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
