Lots of work needs to happen behind the scenes to guarantee that every Bocobay guest has a 5-star experience. Our Maintenance team work tirelessly to keep our properties in great condition, carrying out repairs both small and large and taking preventative steps to stop future problems from arising in the first place. As Maintenance Coordinator you are the central driving force behind this operation, taking whatever steps necessary to deliver 5-star outcomes.

Officially launched in late 2020, Bocobay is a private equity backed business bringing a new standard to the Aruban vacation rental market - bringing the best of a hotel into your private residence.

At Bocobay you will:

• Process, prioritise and schedule maintenance tasks
• Liaise with third-party companies for any work that we cannot do in-house
• Generate accurate quotations for property owners for work we need to undertake
• Review and approve maintenance reports from the team to prepare them for billing
• Carefully manage our costs and revenue (= what we charge our owners) to ensure our maintenance operation remains profitable
• Get out into the field to perform maintenance tasks as necessary - at Bocobay we all like to get into the trenches, and there’s no better way to find opportunities for improvement than to experience an operation first-hand!
• Guide and inspire a team of maintenance professionals to help achieve our mission

What we look for:

• Deep knowledge of property maintenance - ideally with a background property maintenance
• Fluent in English & Spanish
• Great interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities
• Organized, hardworking, and detail-oriented 
• Thrives in a fast paced, ever-changing, always challenging startup environment
• Ability to work effectively both in a team environment as well as independently
• You never say “that’s not my job”
• Flexible schedule and is open to working weekends
• This position requires a valid driver’s License, clean driving record and the right to work in Aruba
