About the Role

We are on the lookout for an attentive and enthusiastic Lifeguard to join our team and ensure the safety of our visitors. As a Lifeguard at De Palm Island, you’ll be the guardian of our guests' well-being while also enhancing their experience. You'll explain safety rules, warn against potential hazards, and enforce policies—all while creating a fun and engaging atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Provide snorkeling lessons and guided tours
• Offer general information about our services in a friendly and professional manner
• Prioritize the safety of guests at all times

Key Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum M.A.V.O. or equivalent education
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Strong swimming skills
• Team player with an outgoing and friendly personality
• Good physical condition is essential
• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Experience in the Tourism and Hospitality sector is a plus
• First Aid certifications are a plus
• Public speaking skills are a plus
