The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for Supervisory duties in the Housekeeping department. 

General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·      Inspecting guest rooms, guest hallways, and public areas.

·      Work well with your team to maintain the cleanliness scores with the tools provided.

·      Programming deep clean projects.

·      Counseling and interviewing employees.

·      Resolving guest complaints that arise from issues encountered in the rooms.

·      Following up on We Care entries, working closely with Engineering to promote a successful PM program.

·      Training the staff on the latest Hyatt cleanliness standards using the tools/cleaning supplies necessary to complete the tasks and other general office duties.

·      The Housekeeping Supervisor will also have to be able to manage supplies in an effective way to prevent waste, complete inventories, and complete purchase orders.

·      Able to oversee projects ongoing in Housekeeping. 

·      Able to conduct daily pre-shift meetings. 

·      Maintain a positive relationship with the Front Office team.
