About the job:

The Terrestrial Biodiversity Conservation Ranger is responsible for the execution of the day-to-day thematic conservation projects and programs regarding the protection, preserving, restoring, rehabilitation of native species and habitats, mitigating invasive species, including compliance promotion and monitoring, in accordance with the nature conservation and compliance policy framework, procedures and protocols.

The responsibilities focus on the biodiversity component of conservation (flora, fauna and habitats), while professional growth in the job depends on acquired expertise on sub areas such as Botany, Entomology, Wildlife, etc. 

Requirements:

-Minimum associate's degree in wildlife management, nature conservation or related field.

-Relevant knowledge of terrestrial conservation, ecosystems and biodiversity.

-Strong passion for the outdoors, nature conservation, and environmental education.

-Good communication skills for interacting with visitors and assistance in educational programs.

-Physical fitness and outdoor skills for patrolling, hiking, swimming, and responding to emergencies.

-Knowledge and experience in the use of equipment and tools used in terrestrial conservation activities, such as -drones, cutters, shears etc.

-Proficiency in using navigation tools, radios, and emergency equipment.

-First Aid and CPR certification is required.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office for administrative tasks and data management.
