About:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly person to work for Houseman. Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned areas while providing courteous service to guests and assisting Room-keepers as needed. Demonstrate teamwork, a positive attitude, and professional behavior with all colleagues and supervisors.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Room-keepers during room turnover by stripping beds, removing dirty towels, and emptying trash
• Ensure Room-keepers have all necessary supplies to complete room setups efficiently.
• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors; clean stairs.
• Clean elevators, corridors, and surrounding areas; check ashtrays.
• Dust and polish woodwork; clean lamps and windows.
• Empty and maintain trash and recycle bins.
• Maintain ice machine and ensure proper functioning.
• Monitor linen rooms for misplaced items; supply clean linen and towels to Room-keepers.

Requirements:

·        Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Physically fit.

·        Reliable, punctual, and available to work Weekends & holidays.

·        Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.

·        Dutch nationality or hold a valid work permit

·        Excellent communication skills in English, Spanish, & Papiamento

·        Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively

·        Positive attitude
