About the vacancy
- Seasons and prepares a wide variety of foods s.a. vegetables, fruits, meats, soups, salads according to prescribed recipes
- Slices, grinds and cooks meats and vegetables using cooking methods
- Carves and displays meats, vegetables, fruits and salads, replenishes service line as necessary
- Informs Chef or F&B Manager of food items running out of stock for immediate replenishment
- Prepares and bakes simple pastries and rolls
- Maintains clean work areas, utensils and equipment
- Attends monthly departmental meetings
- Any other reasonable duties as required
- Performs other similar or related duties as necessary
- Follow up on the requisition of the station
- Min. 2 years experience as a First Cook
- Able to read and follow recipes
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
- Team player
- Customer service oriented
