Join our team      

We are currently seeking a (Senior) Assistant Accountant due to our continued growth.

 

Your Role as an Assistant Accountant

  • Perform accounting and other administrative tasks (such as preparing monthly and quarterly reports and other management information) for clients.
  • Assist with compilation, review, and audit assignments, as well as special investigations and advisory assignments.
  • Maintain contact with clients within the framework of performing your duties.
  • Execute ad hoc assignments both at clients and in our office.


What You Bring  

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.

 

 Your Role as a Senior Assistant Accountant  

  • Perform accounting and other administrative tasks, as well as manage the general ledger, including monthly and annual closing.
  • Assist/support with compilation, review, and audit assignments, as well as special investigations and advisory assignments.
  • Contribute to the internal quality process by, for example, giving presentations and developing internal instructions for outsourcing clients.
  • Maintain contact with clients within the framework of performing your duties.
  • Plan, prepare, and co-execute the compilation, review, and/or audit of monthly reports and/or annual accounts.
  • Assist with guiding and motivating assistants and managing their weekly planning.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • HBO work and thinking level supplemented with five years of relevant work experience.
  • Work experience with managing the monthly payroll.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Practical and proactive attitude.
  • Good knowledge and skills with QuickBooks and Excel.
