Position Summary

As a Junior Trade Marketeer, you will support the Trade Marketing Manager in planning, executing, and evaluating trade marketing activities across various retail and distribution channels in Aruba. You will help ensure that our brands are effectively represented in the marketplace by working closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to improve product visibility, support promotional activities, and contribute to sales growth.

This position is ideal for a motivated individual looking to develop a career in Trade Marketing within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of trade marketing campaigns, promotions, and activations.
• Assist in the development and distribution of point-of-sale (POS) materials and promotional tools.
• Conduct market visits to monitor product visibility, display execution, and promotional compliance.
• Coordinate with Sales and Merchandising teams to ensure effective execution of marketing initiatives.
• Assist with the organization of events, product launches, and customer activations.
• Collect and analyze market, sales, and promotional data to identify opportunities and measure performance.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and post-activity evaluations.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
• Support administrative tasks related to trade marketing projects and supplier requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience or internships in Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Experience in FMCG or distribution is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
• Fluent in English and Papiamento. Knowledge of Dutch and Spanish is considered an asset.
• Valid driver's license.
