About the Role:

Join our team at Amsterdam Manor as our Assistant Financial Controller, you will be co-responsible for overseeing all financial operations, administration, and coordination within the accounting department. The Assistant Financial Controller ensures that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, properly documented, and reported. This role includes evaluating and managing financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data. Additionally, the position monitors expenditures and safeguards the accuracy and integrity of all financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support daily financial operations and accounting processes 
• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported 
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements 
• Monitor and control expenses and budgets 
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures 
• Support financial analysis and reporting to aid decision-making 
• Evaluate and help manage financial risks and internal controls 
• Coordinate activities within the accounting department 
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data 
•  Assist with audits and financial reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in financial management within the hospitality industry or a similar field
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Payroll Pro, PMS systems, and accounting principles
