Who Is Casiola?

Casiola is a fast-growing, full-service vacation rental management company managing 500+ vacation homes across Orlando, Miami, Tampa Bay, Houston, Spain, and 130+ homes in Aruba. Our portfolio ranges from 2-bedroom condos to 15+ bedroom luxury villas.

About the Role

This is an in-house, hands-on accounting and bookkeeping role with a strong focus on QuickBooks Online, working as part of our accounting team.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring that bookkeeping processes are executed carefully, consistently, and without errors, while collaborating closely with other members of the accounting team.

This position is ideal for a highly trained, detail-driven bookkeeping professional - particularly someone with experience in an accounting firm or structured accounting environment, where accuracy, review, and compliance standards are high.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and complete financial records in QuickBooks Online
• Record daily financial transactions with proper classification and posting
• Manage and review bank and credit card transactions, including bank feeds and CSV uploads
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely and documented manner
• Prepare accounts for trial balance and internal or external review
• Post depreciation, accruals, and standard adjusting journal entries
• Maintain organized, audit-ready financial documentation
• Generate financial reports and summaries for management

What You Bring to the Table

• Proven hands-on experience in bookkeeping and accounting support
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (professional, day-to-day use)
• Solid understanding of:
• General ledger structure
• Debits and credits
• Reconciliations
• Adjusting entries and depreciation concepts
• A methodical, detail-oriented working style with a strong habit of reviewing and checking your own work
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and meet deadlines
• Experience working in an accounting firm or highly structured accounting environment is required. Formal accounting degrees are not required; practical experience, diligence, and accuracy are valued most.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace
• Fluency in English required; Spanish is a strong plus
• Local to Aruba or legally authorized to work in Aruba
