Position Overview

The Guest Experience Coordinator is a vital role within the Rooms Division at Aruba Ocean Villas. This position is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment and ensuring that each guest experiences exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they depart. By efficiently anticipating guest needs, managing guest interactions and coordinating across departments, the Coordinator plays a crucial role in driving guest satisfaction and supporting front-line sales efforts.

The Guest Experience Coordinator not only upholds the high standards of the property but also actively contributes to the overall success and reputation of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
• Facilitate seamless check-in and check-out procedures ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
• Provide guests with detailed information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Collaborate with F&B, housekeeping, maintenance, landscaping and other operational teams to ensure guest needs are met.
• Assist in implementing guest service initiatives and promotional activities as directed by the Front Office Manager.
• Accurately manage reservations and guest records using the property management system.
• Monitor and respond to guest feedback, working proactively to resolve issues and improve service quality.
• Promote hotel services, special packages, and local experiences to enhance guest stays and drive revenue.
• Support front-line sales efforts by providing personalized recommendations and assisting with upselling opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma (HAVO) or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in guest services, front office operations, or customer service within a hospitality setting are an advantage
• Must be proficient with computers and standard office applications.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with an empathetic and proactive approach.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• A positive attitude, adaptability, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Working Conditions

• The position is based at Aruba Ocean Villas, operating in a high-end, guest-focused hospitality environment.
• Flexibility is required, including the potential for weekend and holiday shifts, to meet the operational demands of the property.
• The role requires strong teamwork and communication skills, working closely with the Front Office Manager and other departments to ensure a cohesive guest experience.
