Responsibilities

  • Receive food ingredients and supplies from the main kitchen and pantry as required for daily operations.
  • Review production schedules to determine food requirements, including variety and quantity needed.
  • Prepare and season a wide range of foods (vegetables, fruits, meats, soups, salads, cereals) following prescribed recipes.
  • Perform various cooking techniques, including slicing, grinding, and cooking meats and vegetables.
  • Carve and display meats, vegetables, fruits, and salads for service.
  • Maintain and record inventory, request stock, and estimate daily and weekly supply needs.
  • Ensure cleanliness of work areas, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to team members performing similar tasks.


Requirements and Qualifications

  • EPI Culinary Diploma or equivalent with 2 years in similar position.
  • Can understand and speak English and Spanish
  • Follow food safety and HACCP guideline
  • Can work different shifts
  • Has a valid Health Card
  • Has a Dutch Passport or a valid work permit
