NPFO Duties and Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the oversight and management of all flight operations activities of the Company and its affiliates, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations and company procedures.
• Ensuring that all flight operations are conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and company standards
• Oversight of operational control, flight planning, dispatch, and flight crew activities
• Development, implementation, and continuous improvement of flight operations procedures
• Ensuring coordination between OCC, Ground Operations, Crew Training, and other operational departments
• Monitoring operational performance, safety, and compliance with applicable operational requirements
• Ensuring compliance with safety, security, and operational standards applicable to flight operations
• Acting as the focal point with aviation authorities regarding flight operations matters
• Supporting audits, inspections, certification activities, and regulatory oversight processes
• Ensuring proper training, qualification, and competency of personnel involved in flight operations
• Providing operational guidance and support regarding company operational manuals and procedures
• Any additional duties related to the Company’s Operating Manuals or regulatory requirements applicable to the NPFO function.

Requirements

• Must hold (or have held) an Air Transport Pilot License issued in accordance with AUA-FCL Subpart G or equivalent standard;
• 2500 hours of experience as a pilot-in-command in commercial jet transport with an airline;
• Must have a thorough knowledge of relevant parts of AUA-OPS/JAR-OPS, AUA-FCL and associated documentation, including aircraft performance criteria of JAR (FAR) 23 or 25 or 27 or 29 (as applicable);
• At least 10 years of experience in operation of aircraft equivalent to the size of the largest equipment foreseen in the POAS document;
• Three years of which applicant must have been in an aircraft flight operation supervisory capacity of an airline.
