About the Role

The Accounting Associate supports the finance and accounting department by performing essential tasks such as data entry, bookkeeping, and resolving discrepancies. The role includes responsibilities in accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit, cash handling, cost control, inventory, and general administrative support, while helping ensure accurate financial records and compliance with established procedures and regulations.

Requirements

• MBO+ in Financial Administration or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Strong skills in data entry, data retrieval, and maintaining accurate and organized administrative records
• Reliable, well-organized, and able to effectively prioritize tasks
• Works independently while collaborating effectively to support a team-oriented environment.
• Fluent in English, Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamento
• Proficient in accounting-related software and systems, including Microsoft Office (advanced Excel), QuickBooks, PMS systems (Stayntouch), and POS systems (Aloha)
