DESCRIPTION

SafeCom N.V.'s Technical Department is growing, and we are looking for a dedicated, hardworking, and honest professional with strong personal integrity to join our team as a Junior Security Systems Technician. In this role you will support the daily operations of a high-security, vital organization belonging to Land Aruba, working on-site as part of a dedicated SafeCom service team.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Under the guidance of a team of Senior Security Systems Technicians, the Junior Security Systems Technician will assist with the installation, maintenance, cleaning, troubleshooting, and repair of the organization's video surveillance (CCTV) system and its supporting I.T. infrastructure.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: minimum E.P.B. Elektromonteur or ICT Support; preferably E.P.I. Elektrotechniek/ICT

• Experience: minimum 1 year of experience working with security systems (burglary alarm, CCTV, fire alarm, or access control systems) or with comparable low voltage systems

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of electronics, networking equipment, and software

• Must be skilled in working with power tools such as a drill machine (boormachine), impact driver (schroefmachine), and grinder, as well as hand tools such as screwdrivers, cutters, wire strippers, pliers, etc.

• Must be comfortable working outdoors and at heights, including on tall ladders and in the bucket of a boom truck

• Valid driver's license and the ability to drive manual vehicles is a must; a truck license is a plus

• Must be able to pass a thorough background check

• Strong communication skills, able to work well in a team, respectful, and a strong work ethic

• A genuine passion for learning new technologies and skills

• Organized, patient, and reliable
