About the vacancy

Fundacion Contra Violencia Relacional (FCVR) is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as On-Call Shelter Advocates. FCVR provides shelter and support for women and their children who are survivors of gender-based and domestic violence. This is a perfect opportunity for those with a heart for helping others and the flexibility to cover shifts when our full-time staff are on vacation or on sick leave.

Requirements
  • At least an "MBO-4 diploma in “Zorg en Welzijn"
  • (Care and Welfare) from Colegio EPI or an
    equivalent institution.
  • Ability to work on short notice and cover shifts as
  • needed.
  • Our Shifts:
  • * Morning: 06:00 - 14:00
    * Evening: 14:00 - 22:00
    * Night: 22:00 - 06:00
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.

"Fundacion Contra Violencia Relacional" (FCVR) is the leading expertise and treatment center in Aruba dedicated to addressing gender-based and domestic violence, particularly intimate and former intimate partner violence. FCVR is committed to providing survivors and their families, including children below 18 years old, with essential assistance, guidance, and support. Our foundation serves the community through a range of services, including Non-Residential Services, Residential Services and Aftercare Services. Additionally, our work is augmented by a Center of Expertise and Advocacy programs aimed at supporting, defending, lobbying, educating, and debating issues related to Gender-Based & Domestic Violence. These services are delivered by our dedicated team Trained Professionals.
