About the vacancy
Fundacion Contra Violencia Relaciónal (FCVR) is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as On-Call Shelter Advocates. FCVR provides shelter and support for women and their children who are survivors of gender-based and domestic violence. This is a perfect opportunity for those with a heart for helping others and the flexibility to cover shifts when our full-time staff are on vacation or on sick leave.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and care to shelter residents.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.
- Assist in the daily operations of the shelter.
- Collaborate with full-time staff to maintain a positive and supportive environment.
- At least an "MBO-4 diploma in “Zorg en Welzijn" (Care and Welfare) from Colegio EPI or an equivalent institution.
- Ability to work on short notice and cover shifts as needed.
- Our Shifts: o Morning: 06:00 - 14:00
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Flexible working hours
- Opportunity to gain valuable experience in the social care sector, including knowledge and experience in the fields of gender-based violence (GBV) and domestic violence (DV).
- Work in a supportive and collaborative environment.
