We are looking for a skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Service Technician to join our growing team. If you have experience diagnosing and repairing diesel-powered equipment, hydraulic systems, and aerial work platforms, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment.
• Repair and rebuild hydraulic cylinders, including seal and piston replacement.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses.
• Service boom lifts, scissor lifts, articulated platforms, forklifts, and other heavy equipment.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, hydraulic schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Use electronic diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
• Perform repairs both in the workshop and at customer job sites.
• Follow all company and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines.
• Experience servicing heavy equipment and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to replace hydraulic cylinder seals and pistons.
• Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ability to read technical manuals and hydraulic/electrical schematics.
• Experience using electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Experience with JLG, Genie, Skyjack, or similar aerial equipment is an asset.
• Technical certification in diesel mechanics, heavy equipment, or a related field preferred.
• Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a safety-first mindset.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
