Our Housekeeping team work tirelessly to keep our properties in great condition, making sure every property is spotless for the arrival of our guests. As Housekeeping Coordinator you are the central driving force behind this operation, taking whatever steps necessary to deliver 5-star outcomes.

At Bocobay you will:

• Lead initiatives to maintain and improve the cleanliness ratings we receive from our guests
• Prioritise and schedule housekeeping tasks
• Maintain an overview of all housekeeping operations on the ground, ensuring timely completion of all tasks as well as high quality
• Liaise with third-party companies for any outsourced housekeeping tasks
• Coordinate with other internal departments like Maintenance and Customer Experience to achieve the best outcomes for guests
• Coach, train and motivate a team of 25+ internal housekeepers
• Enforce high standards of quality and professionalism in the housekeeping department
• Continually drive improvements in our housekeeping processes
• Get out into the field to direct and support the housekeeping team as necessary - at Bocobay we all like to get into the trenches, and there’s no better way to find opportunities for improvement than to experience an operation first-hand!

What we look for:

• Several years of experience leading a housekeeping department, preferably in premium hospitality
• Fluent in English & Spanish
• Great interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities
• Organized, hardworking, and detail-oriented 
• Thrives in a fast paced, ever-changing, always challenging startup environment
• Ability to work effectively both in a team environment as well as independently
• You never say “that’s not my job”
• Flexible schedule and is open to working weekends
• This position requires a valid driver’s License, clean driving record and the right to work in Aruba
