Job Summary:

Responsible for cleaning the public area and assisting the room attendants

General Hospitality Job Functions:

-     Maintain the Resort’s customer service standards and uphold the mission statement through the strict follow up of the hospitality rules

-     Maintain and abide to time clock rules, report to work area on time

-     Keep high grooming standard at all times and keep work area clean and organized

-     Wear, maintain and follow uniform standards at all times

-     Must become familiar and proficient in all aspects of the property, departments, locations, hours of operations, rooms, activities, etc. respond to guests accurately

-     Use guest etiquette at all times

-     Follow proper handling procedures of inquiries/requests and complaints standards and maintain the guest satisfaction at all times

-     Use proper telephone etiquette and answering techniques when answering the telephone

-     Anticipate guest’s needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests at all times

-     Maintain positive guest relations at all times

-     Follow proper emergency and safety procedures at all times

-     Assist all disabled guests, catering to their special needs as much as possible

Typical Duties:

-     Sweeps and mops on a daily basis guest corridors in the assigned area

-     Sweeps and mops on a daily basis or as needed the Lobby area when assigned

-     Carries all sheets to the laundry

-     Takes out trash out of the maid carts and brings them to the designated area

-     Assists the laundry attendant with washing and drying of all Resort laundry items on request

-     Carries laundry carts to linen rooms

-     Re-stocks maid carts with clean linen

-     Any other reasonable duties as required

-     Performs other similar or related duties as necessary

Education/Qualifications:

-     Min. EPB education

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

-     Able to communicate in English and Spanish

-     Strong physical condition

-     Pleasant personality

-     Team player

-     Attention to detail
