Key Duties

Tee Time Management:

• Verify and organize golfers’ reservations, ensuring tee times are adhered to.
• Communicate with the pro shop to manage scheduling adjustments as needed.

Customer Service:

• Greet players warmly and provide necessary course information, including rules, conditions, and etiquette.
• Address any player inquiries or concerns professionally.

Flow of Play:

• Coordinate the order of groups on the first tee and monitor the pace of play.
• Address any delays or bottlenecks.

Safety and Rules Enforcement:

• Brief players on safety guidelines and course regulations.
• Ensure compliance with golf course policies, including proper attire and equipment usage.

Cart Preparation and Maintenance:

• Clean and sanitize golf carts after each use.
• Ensure carts are fully charged, fueled, and stocked with scorecards, pencils, and tees.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.

Customer Support:

• Assist golfers with loading and unloading their equipment.
• Provide guidance on cart operation and course-specific rules for cart usage.

Fleet Management:

• Organize carts in the staging area for daily use and retrieve carts left on the course.
• Monitor the return of carts and ensure they are properly stored.

Facility Support:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cart barn and staging area.
• Assist with special events or tournaments, ensuring carts are ready and distributed efficiently.
• Any other reasonable duties as required. 

Requirements

• Highschool Diploma
• Previous experience in golf course of hospitality setting preferred
• Familiarity with tee sheets
• Knowledge of golfcourse operations, rules and etiquette
• Fluent in English, Spanish, Dutch and Papiamento
• Good communication skills
• Teamplayer
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Has a valid driver's license
• Dutch passport or valid work permit
